It’s 7 a.m. and 52° now and expected to get not much higher than 60°. Details for the next 10 days are here. It looks like the pleasantly warm weather may be taking a hiatus over the weekend.

It sounds like Philz Coffee just backed out of an ill-advised business partnership wherein they were tracking customers via cell phones. SF Appeal broke the news earlier this week and Philz’s owner has since announced the local coffee chain has ended the program. More details here.

Pride month is upon us. And with it, controversy and scandal. As The Bay Area Reporter reports, Airbnb has joined Pride as a sponsor and not everyone is thrilled about this development. Furthermore, the victim of a shooting at last year’s festival just filed a lawsuit against the organizer. SF Examiner has details and a copy of the suit.

Apparently, Spike TV thinks a couple of Mission bars need a televised makeover. Uptown Almanac has the details.
