It’s time to pick up your compost for the garden at one of the Recology pick-up points open from 8 a.m. to noon today.

An SF Gate style photographer caught spoken word poet Yazmin Monet Watkins  in Dolores Park.     And SF Weekly has put the 20th Street Salumeria’s chicken friend sandwich on the must eat list. 

And if you are looking for things to do, the Ina Chalis Opera Ensemble will perform at the Community Center at 544 Capp Street at 4 p.m. and the ATA on Valencia has @Cinema: “Two Years at Sea” and shorts by Ben Rivers at 8 pm.
