The San Francisco Chronicle is ahead of the crime recap today on the young man who walked into a store on the 2600 block of Mission Street Monday and ended up getting arrested for allegedly stealing a pair of socks and punching a security guard in the nose. But the story is rich in detail:
The man, later identified as Adam Rowbury, 23, of Fairfax, reportedly entered the store around 12:30 p.m. and began acting strangely, lingering in the clothing aisle for nearly two hours before the incident began, San Francisco Police Sgt. Danielle Newman said.
Then around 2:30, Rowbury stripped naked and decided to try on a Superman T-shirt, a new pair of underwear and some socks. Apparently pleased with the garments, Rowbury put on the clothes he had taken off and headed toward the cash register to pay for the items. READ MORE HERE.
