Good Morning Mission!

On Alabama Street.

On Alabama Street.

It’s 7 a.m., 52° and headed to 64°. Details for the next 10 days are here.

A visiting Mission Local editor, Lauren Smiley, wrote a comprehensive story for San Francisco Magazine about the changes on Mission Street and what’s in store for the historic street.

The New York Times profiles Mayor Ed Lee who is presiding during a very divisive time in San Francisco.

District 8 Supervisor Scott Wiener’s, who partly represents the Mission, “impartial” resolution on the Waterfront Height Limit initiative raises eyebrows, reports Joe Eskenazi of SF Weekly.

Enjoy these sunny days before the rain hits later this week.

Well-balanced piece in the NYT on our mayor. Thank you.

Good to see Scott Weiner, Gabriel Metcalfe and his developer lobbyists over at SPUR show their hand and reveal themselves. Combined with the piece in San Francisco Magazine that exposes the nonprofit prostitute payoffs, we have a clear picture of how the game is rigged by all for the benefit of developers.
