Mmm, turns out SF is not only the city of open art’s debate, but it is a good place for artists to live, at least according to a survey done by Mylife.com and flagged by SF Weekly. 

While S.F. earned high marks for most of the study’s criteria, such as the number of museums and galleries in the city, a potential clientele of households with incomes greater than $200,000, and people who actually work in the arts industry — it lost a few points for the high cost of living. READ MORE.

A new report by the Williams Institute at UCLA concludes that in 2013, 29 percent of LGBT people could not afford to feed themselves, the SF Weekly points out. 

And the SF Business Times writes about a Trulia report on how other tech hubs compare to San Francisco.
