We get the daily crime reports, make some calls and put them up. Some are tragic, some are ludicrous and some just stop you dead and put a whole lot into perspective.

Monday’s recap came this morning with a carjacking between Mission and South Van Ness at 5:55 p.m. and a robbery at 7:53 p.m. on Potrero Avenue between 23rd and 24th streets.

The suspect in the carjacking pulled a knife on the driver who got scared and jumped out of his truck. No one was injured — although it has to be terrifying to have your car hijacked at knifepoint.

The robbery report said the suspect took two items from the drugstore and left without paying. The 20-something suspect was confronted by employees and brandished a gun. He fled without further incident.

I called in to see what the suspect had taken.

“Two baby bottles,” said the officer.

Mission and South Van Ness is not an intersection

Sure it is, by the Goodwill. Although, I think the writer of this article left out the numbered cross street.

Why do you swear so much?
