Man Knocked Unconscious for His Wallet and Cell Phone

A 36-year-old man walking on 17th Street near Hoff Street on Tuesday at 11:25 p.m. was approached by three men in their 20s. One punched the victim in the face, knocking him unconscious. The suspects fled with the victim’s wallet and cell phone, according to police.

    Half a block from the police station. When there’s virtually no chance of getting caught and light punishments these violent crimes will continue and only get worse.
