District 8 Supervisor, Scott Wiener, is expected to propose legislation at the Board of Supervisors meeting today that would increase affordable housing. The proposal would allow developers to increase the amount of units they put in a new building — if 20 percent of the new units are affordable housing. A 21-year-old San Pablo man, accused of murdering a Mission resident in 2012, was found not guilty on all charges yesterday. You can read about the closing arguments of the case HERE.
