It’s 7 a.m., 64°F and partly cloudy. Expect clear skies and similar temperatures for the next five days. More weather here.

A witty mapping website called Urbane has produced a San Francisco map – and the Mission gets labeled with “A Lone KFC” and “So many hip freakin’ places for hipsters to check in on Foursquare.”

A leading venture capitalist, Tim Draper, has proposed to carve up California into six states – San Francisco would be included in the Silicon Valley state. Is that slightly offensive to anyone else? The proposal first ran on TechCrunch this Thursday before being picked up the New York Times following Friday’s second tech bus hold-up. Draper plans to submit the proposal to the State of California.

Transplants to our city may call themselves San franciscans, but your dialect will still give you away. Take this New York Times quiz to see where your dialect places you in the United States.
