Can you please provide the descriptions of the suspects?
What is Mission Local’s policy on providing clear descriptions of suspects? Tell us something so we know what to look for: clothing, height, weight, hair color, skin color, etc. If you don’t want to be more descriptive, tell us why (e.g. not in your stylebook, limited resources so can’t follow up on police reports).
Mission Local bases the descriptions of the suspects on the information we receive from the police. The police report never provides a detailed description of the suspects, but race and age. We don’t include the race unless the report provides enough physical details that can lead to the identification of a suspect. -Andrea
Still no descriptions, eh?
