Crime Recap: Triple Shooting, Man Knocked Unconscious

Friday

At about 5 a.m. a male suspect hit a man in the face several times before stealing his wallet and cell phone near 18th and Mission streets, police said. The suspect fled on foot.

No arrests were made.

Saturday

At 7:30 p.m. an unknown male suspect struck a 19-year-old man several times with a closed fist near 23rd and Treat streets, police said. The suspect stole the man’s wallet, and then fled on foot.

No arrests were made.

Sunday

At 2:14 a.m. a man punched a 23-year-old man in the face and knocked him unconscious near 16th and Mission streets, police said. The victim fell on the ground, and the suspect stole his cell phone, credit cards and wallet. The suspect fled the scene.

No arrests were made.

At about 10:30 p.m. a male suspect struck a man with an unknown object near 17th and Mission streets. The suspect later fled on foot.

No arrests were made.

Monday

Two male suspects robbed a man at gunpoint at 4:30 p.m. near 24th and Dolores streets, police said. The suspects took the man’s cell phone and wallet and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

No arrests were made.

Two men and a woman robbed a man at gunpoint at 12:15 a.m. near 15th and Mission streets, police said. One of the suspects struck the man with an unknown object, causing him to fall on the ground. The other suspects took the man’s phone and fled the area.

No arrests were made.

Tuesday

Three people were shot and injured at approximately 3:50 a.m. on 16th Street between Mission and Valencia. Read here for more information.

    May 31, 2013 – BCN8:SF: TWO INJURED IN MISSION DISTRICT STABBING

    Police are investigating a stabbing in San Francisco’s Mission District that sent two people to the hospital this morning.

    Police received a 911 call from the Mission District reporting the stabbing at about 2:17 a.m. Two people were transported to a hospital to be treated for their injuries, police said.

    • Thanks for your inquiry, Kevin. Police reported that two people were stabbed around that time this morning near the 500 block of Valencia Street, so near 16th Street.
