Teen Punched and Robbed of Cell Phone at 24th and Mission

Tuesday

A 14-year-old girl was robbed while waiting at a bus stop at 24th and Mission streets at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday. A suspect described as a 15- or 16-year-old girl approached the victim and punched her in the face.

The victim dropped her cell phone, and a second suspect, described as a 40-year-old woman, picked it up. Both suspects then fled in an unknown direction.

The victim suffered bruises to her face and was taken to the hospital.

Wednesday

A 33-year-old woman was robbed at knifepoint around 2 a.m. on Wednesday on Hoff Street between 16th and 17th streets.

A woman who appeared to be about 40 years old asked the victim if she could use her cell phone. The victim gave the suspect her phone and the suspect walked away. When the victim tried to get her phone back, the suspect brandished a knife and fled on foot.
