The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition and PODER has teamed up to organize “Bike Build Convivios,” bike-building workshops in which they recover bicycles and teach members of the community how to rebuild them. The best part: you get to keep the bike you build. So far the groups have held two events at the Eric Quezada Center; the next will be March 24, 1:30-5 p.m., at the Bike Kitchen, 650 Florida St. Read more about what goes on in the convivios here, or watch this video.
