It’s 7 a.m. and 53º, headed to 56º. It may be cloudy now, but it will be sunny by the afternoon.

City College of San Francisco serves more than 90,000 students a year, but that doesn’t guarantee it will maintain its accreditation and stay open. The state chancellor for California Community Colleges told the the school’s board of trustees Thursday that City College is not too big to fail.

BART rides can be boring and the Wi-Fi is so poor that surfing the Internet is usually not an option. But plans to upgrade BART’s security system by adding wireless capabilities to cameras could bring free, reliable Wi-Fi to riders.

And make sure you stock up on quarters and dimes. After a three-week amnesty period, police will start ticketing drivers who don’t feed the meter this Sunday.
