We have so many questions this morning. For instance, what’s going on with the Dolores Park renovation? We’ve been covering the planning and design of the park improvements for several years now. Castro Biscuit reports that another meeting is planned to go over the changes that may be made to the park at some point …
Recreation and Parks staff will be hosting a meeting to communicate progress on the Renovation on February 6th from 5:30PM – 7:30PM. The location of the meeting has not yet been determined, but we will let you know where the meeting will be located when it is announced.
Want brunch without the wait? The Chronicle recommends San Jalisco on South Van Ness Avenue and 20th Street:
The spacious home-style restaurant has an extensive Mexican breakfast menu, including four variations on chilaquiles. Huevos arrive with all types of chiles and vegetables as well as carne asada ($13.95) or pork in the huevos divorciados ($8.95), which are covered in chile verde and chile colorado sauces.
The complex sauces stand out, including the salsa coating the crisp tortilla pieces in the chilaquiles Veronica ($9.95), tossed with scrambled eggs, chorizo and nopales. Huevos a la Mexicana ($7.95) is another scramble, this time with fresh chile peppers, onions and tomatoes.
