Good Morning Mission!

It’s 7 a.m. and 52º, headed to 58º. It’s going to be sunny again, but yes, still cold.

It’s the time of year when find yourself running around doing last-minute gift-shopping and wondering what will be on the menu for the holidays. Eater SF is making things a little easier for you with a list of places serving dinner on New Year’s Eve. Several Mission District restaurants are on the list, including Bar Bambino, (which will be serving its last dinner before closing), Monk’s Kettle and Heirloom Cafe. Here’s the complete list.

And if you find yourself in need of a good hangover cure on Jan. 1, Wise Sons Deli is offering a special limited-edition menu that includes chicken schnitzel and latke benedict, as well as regular-menu favorites like reuben and pastrami sandwiches.

For that last-minute shopping, we have you covered. Here are some local ideas for you:

- Mission Possible, a neighborhood atlas
- A Mission Local tote bag, so your loved ones don’t have to keep buying plastic bags

Before we let you go, Mission Local could use your help. Just $10 a month from our loyal readers would help tremendously. We’ve raised $401 since Tuesday — will you make a tax-deductible donation before the end of 2012? Click here to donate.
