A 19-year old man was walking near Caledonia and 16th streets at 2:45 a.m. on Saturday when he was shot in the chest. He ran to 16th and Valencia streets and collapsed. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The suspect fled on foot. Read our coverage here.
A woman was walking near Elizabeth and Sanchez streets at 4 p.m. on Saturday when a man and a woman approached her. The female suspect pepper-sprayed the victim while the male suspect took her phone. The two suspects got into a waiting vehicle with another man and woman inside. The vehicle was described as a gold four-door Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable with paper plates.
A man waiting for a bus at 24th and Potrero streets at 3 a.m. on Saturday was attacked by a group of three females and one male. The victim fell to the ground, where he was kicked. The suspects took his money and cell phone, then fled on foot. The victim suffered bruises to his body.
A man was stabbed at the 24th and Mission BART plaza at 5 a.m. on Sunday. The victim was approached by an unknown number of suspects, who said something to him and then attacked him, stabbing him in the stomach. The victim’s friend took him to St. Luke’s Hospital and he was then transported to San Francisco General Hospital for surgery, where he is recovering. The suspects fled on foot.
