St. Luke’s Hospital on Cesar Chavez celebrated its centennial yesterday afternoon. SF Appeal reports that the hospital was praised for the physical and emotional support it has provided to the community over the last 100 years.

The Giants lost to the Cardinals 8-3 last night. They have one more chance to be in the running for the World Series. The Chronicle has details on last night’s game.
