Sunday’s lineup included the final day of Fleet Week, the America’s Cup World Series, the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, a 49ers game and the Giants’ second playoff game.
The fate of suspended San Francisco Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi will be decided Tuesday when the Board of Supervisors votes whether to oust their former colleague. Mirkarimi plead guilty to a misdemeanor earlier this year after a New Year’s Eve incident in which he grabbed and bruised his wife’s arm.
