In the last Sunday crime entry, how do they know both perps were 22 years old when there were no arrests made?

Remember: Campos’ main issue is free MUNI rides for youth. If he’s not watching out for crime, then it has to be neighbors block by block watching out for what’s happening on their street. Call, tweet, post, email … Neighborhood issues only come to the front when we make them an issue. Keep reporting stuff even if it seems like nothing is being done. As bad as these stories on ML are I am encouraged they are at least in the news.

has there been a rise in crime? I was robbed recently after living here 7 years without incident. I would really like to see some investigative journalism (or a link to a site that does that).

It’s just a matter of time until an yuppie or hipster gets shot, and then all hell will break loose, an alternate supervisor will step forward, and Campos’ shoe-in bid for Supervisor will look like a long list dream.

Sigh. I just feel like the Mission is dead. I’ve lived here for seven years, and it’s just….dead. This is my last year in San Francisco, and I couldn’t be more happy about that.

I too would like more details about who the criminals are! Should we just be afraid of anyone under 30? Can we have some specifics? What they looked like, height, weight, hair color, eyes, what they were wearing, etc? These are all things that would normally be in a police report, so the data must be available….

Don’t worry about it, it’s gentrification that’s the real problem in the Mission – just ask Campos.
