Schedule changes for Labor Day holiday.

Looking to escape holiday traffic in the Mission and around the city? Take note that most public transportation systems will operate on a holiday/Sunday schedule this Labor Day (Monday).

Muni

Will follow a Sunday schedule.

BART
Will follow a Sunday schedule. Service begins around 8 a.m. for all northbound trains and 8:30 a.m. for all southbound trains.

Caltrain/SamTrans
Will follow a Sunday schedule. Caltrain will operate 28 trains between San Francisco and San Jose, plus four weekend Baby Bullets. The last southbound train of the day will leave San Francisco at 9:15 p.m. Trains will not operate south of the San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station; a shuttle bus will be available between the Tamien and Diridon stations.

Ferry
The Blue & Gold Fleet will operate on a weekend/holiday schedule. Click here for specific operation times.

The Dumbarton Bridge will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Tuesday for seismic retrofitting.
