The deal on Groupon for a tour of the offices of fetish website Kink.com spurred a group called Morality in Media to urge supporters to boycott the deals website, the SF Examiner reports. Since 2006, Kink.com has been headquartered in the historic San Francisco Armory, and offers paid tours of the building. Morality in Media spokespeople told the Examiner that Groupon had  “cleverly disguised the coupon as being a historic tour,” but instead promoted “sadomasochistic torture and rape pornography.”

Kink owner Peter Acworth responded: “We’ve been amazed by how many people have been fascinated by its history. … We are grateful to Groupon for helping us open the doors of the Armory to the public.” Read more at the San Francisco Examiner.
