The BART police officer who shot a man inside a BART station has been cleared of wrongdoing. The SF Chronicle reports:

District Attorney George Gascon on Tuesday released a report finding that BART Officer James Crowell acted lawfully in self-defense when he fatally shot 45-year-old Charles Hill on July 3 in San Francisco’s Civic Center Station.

And on Tuesday, a $21 million plan to rehabilitate 80 Muni buses was approved, according to the Examiner:

The 40-foot diesel vehicles, called Neoplan buses, have been in service since 2000 and are nearing the end of their useful life, according to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, which operates Muni.
