Good Morning Mission!

It’s 7:30 a.m. and 51° F. The high is expected to be 66° F. Want more details? They’re here.

Dear Mom, the new bar venture on 16th and Harrison streets from the owners of Thieves, is finally here. Well, almost here — the bar opens at 5 p.m. today. And if you’re looking for more choices for some drinks and food, Tacolicious and its bar Mosto both opened Monday night, and Mozzeria will open soon.

Bay Area Bites reports that Mozzeria owners Melody and Russ Stein, who are both deaf, recently moved back to San Francisco because they wanted to open a restaurant. Melody’s father ran successful restaurants in Hong Kong and San Francisco. They decided on pizza because Russ grew up in New York City and considers himself a pizza addict.

Are you tired of getting tickets because you forget to feed the meter? Soon drivers will be able to add money to meters from their cellphones. From SF Gate:

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency plans to launch a new service that sends drivers text alerts if their parking meters are about to expire. People also will be allowed to plug the meters remotely using their cell phones. Existing time restrictions won’t change.

A 45-cent “convenience” fee will be charged for each pay-by-phone transaction.
