When I went out on the roof of the T-Mobile building at 20th and Mission with the group of protesters who had occupied the building, I couldn’t help but notice this desperate message, written in Sharpie, on the building next door.

Right. Telling your tenants not to climb onto the roof is like telling Godzilla not to stomp all over Tokyo.
