i grew up on the top floor in the building where elina got started~ i am happy she is still in the neighborhood and am a proud owner of some of her hats!

It would be cool if they made the sewing studio more open to the customers, if not made into a centerpiece, a la Tartine’s side window or a typical open-kitchen restaurant. Let people be more interested!

Elina’s shop is such a magical place. She’s a truly talented artist and gives so much to the community. It’s a real comfort to know that she is still in the neighborhood creating hats in her wonderful shop. I don’t think most people realize that she makes many of the hats that are displayed. Thank you Elina, for all the wonderful work you do.
