Stop-motion filmmaker Samara Halperin is an artist in residence at Southern Exposure.
Over last weekend she shot parts of her latest film, tentatively called “West of the Wonder Wheel,” in the gallery. Kids and adults sat side by side crafting miniatures for the set of Coney Island.
